Confirmation Ministry for Grades 7-8
Sundays, 9:30-10:45 a.m. and Fridays, 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Students explore the basics of the Lutheran faith, the Bible, and life’s deepest questions with our dedicated team of experienced teachers. Monthly Friday night social and service activities, a Fall overnight, and a Spring weekend retreat build friendships that last a lifetime. The two-year program culminates with a Night of Witness and the Rite of Confirmation on the Day of Pentecost. The program generally follows the school calendar. Pre-Confirmation for Grade 6
Sundays, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
A weekly class where 6th graders can get to know others in their age group and start learning what confirmation is all about. No homework or attendance requirements, but there will be opportunities to join the 7th & 8th grade students for a few fun activities and service projects.
