Bethania Kids “Tour of Love” Visit & Luncheon
Hold the Hand of a Child in Need
Founded by Lutheran missionaries in 1987, Bethania Kids in India serves over 900 children, women and families in need, sharing the love of Christ along with hope and the opportunity for a better life. Two years ago, Josephine and Chrystal traveled from India to visit with St. Andrew and share about the ministry of Bethania Kids. On September 29-30, we will be blessed by another visit, this time featuring one Bethania staff member and two young ambassadors who grew up in a Bethania Home.
The Bethania visitors will speak at all worship services and will be available to “meet and greet” members and friends between services in the Commons. During a special luncheon following 11:00 am worship, they will share experiences about growing up in the care of Bethania, answer questions about Bethania Kids’ ministry, and highlight the special needs of the ministry right now, including the building of a new Shalom Home for 48 young women and sponsorship of children to provide ongoing support.
You can help! Attend the luncheon, donate to the cause, and sponsor a child to have a lasting impact for Christ! Luncheon tickets go on sale in the Commons and online September 8. The menu will feature Indian delicacies, plus options for children. The cost is $10 per adult and $5 per child in advance, and $12 at the door.
