Following Pastor Mark Hricko’s announcement in early 2026 of his plan to retire, a Call Committee was formed to lead and facilitate a process of discernment and search leading to the call of a new candidate to serve as St. Andrew’s Senior Pastor. The process will include prayer, a survey and listening sessions to receive feedback from our church family, and an opportunity to nominate candidates. Next will be candidate selection, interviews and a vote to call a suitable individual, as the Spirit leads. Watch this page and weekly announcements for updates and opportunities to support the effort as the process unfolds.

UPDATE ON THE PROCESS: Nominations of Pastoral Candidates by the congregation were accepted through June 30. The list of those submitted was forwarded for review by District President Bill Harmon. We have received a modified list including those eligible among the nominees, and others recommended by the District. We are now in Phase 2 of the process, discerning which of those on the list appear to match with the needs of our congregation and contacting them to learn more. The next step will be scheduling interviews and in-person visits for a top candidate or two to meet the congregation. Stay tuned for further updates and please continue to pray for the committee, pastoral candidates, and all those involved, that the Spirit will guide us and provide the leadership needed for all that God has in mind for St. Andrew’s future.
CONGREGATIONAL FEEDBACK – Thanks to those who participated in listening sessions during the month of June. An online survey was emailed to our members’ list on August 17, with a response deadline of September 4. If you are an active member and would like to respond but did not receive the email, contact our Call Committee Chair for more information. All the feedback received will be carefully considered by the committee in the next phases of the interview and selection process.
