Donate for Hurricane Relief – Items needed by October 28
The Southeastern District is coordinating with local and state officials as well as other partners to help those affected by recent devastating storms. There is an immediate need for 18,000 personal hygiene kits, 15,000 flood clean-up kits and other needed items listed below. St. Andrew is part of the effort larger effort, as a donation and collection point. Spread the word to neighbors and friends – all are welcome to support the cause!
HOW CAN YOU HELP:
- PURCHASE LOCALLY – View and download the hygiene and cleanup kits shopping list HERE. In addition, needed items include warm blankets and quilts, diapers, baby wipes, tents, sleeping bags and NEW socks and underwear for school aged children and adults. BRING ALL DONATIONS TO CHURCH NO LATER THAN 10/28. They will be assembled and packaged for delivery to St. Peter’s in North Carolina on 10/29 and sent for delivery on 10/30! Please purchase full hygiene and cleanup kits if possible.
- PURCHASE ONLINE – Order needed items from the Amazon “relief wish list” and they will be delivered quickly and directly to St. Peter’s, Conover NC. Be sure to select St. Peter’s as the delivery address.
