Dear Friends,
On behalf of St. Andrew’s Board of Directors and with the support of our church staff, I am very pleased to let you know that in-person worship services will resume, weather permitting, on Sunday, February 28. Small group communion celebrations will begin on Monday, March 1.
While the Montgomery County COVID positivity rate is now lower than when we re-opened last July, the transmission rate, which has been in the VERY HIGH range for several weeks has also dropped significantly, allowing us to gather carefully and joyfully for the glory of God.
Therefore, I invite those who are ready to worship in the Lord’s house to observe the same protocols of masking, social distancing, limiting capacity, and signing up for worship via a link that will be sent to you early next week.
Meanwhile, our online services on Sundays and Wednesdays during Lent will continue, along with our other online ministries. In the coming days we will also be exploring the possibility of St. Andrew becoming a mass vaccination site in service to our community. Be sure to look for details of these and many other opportunities to worship, study, and serve in the days ahead.
Thank you again for your patience, faithfulness, and generosity throughout these challenging days. May the grace of the One who suffered and died that we may have abundant life, be with you all!
Grace and peace, always, in Christ,
Mark Hricko
Pastor
