About Wellspring's Executive Director
What's happening with Wellspring? On October 7, 2009 the Wellspring Center took an important step toward reality when a select group of Christian leaders and innovators gathered at The Wellspring Summit to learn about plans, offer input and wisdom, and experience a bit of what The Wellspring Center will ultimately become: a unique tool for education, conference and spiritual growth with a special focus on the refreshment, healing and strength-building of Christ followers in professional and lay ministry and beyond. It was a blessed day! Following this inaugural event, a Wellspring Executive Leadership Team was formed and work is actively underway to move the effort forward.
In 2010, almost 100 people participated in Wellspring seminars held at The Lutheran Church of St Andrew. On June 26, Dr. Bruce Hartung led a group of participants through exploration of "Grace in the Pastor Parish Dance." On September 18, another group gathered to learn and discuss the dynamics of "Spiritual Leadership in the 21st Century," led by Pastor Mark Hricko. Click here for details about those seminars, and watch this site for a new slate of offerings currently in development to be held throughout 2011.
Read on for comments from a few of those who have participated in Wellspring events ...
"Thanks for a wonderful day - very productive! I believe Wellspring has great potential to bless the church and the world."
"A great concept ... lots of creativity flowing ... can't wait to move forward!"
"Truly a privilege to "dream" in the cloud of saints gathered at the Well ... the canvas of St. Andrew is fertile, holy ground. The paints and brushes wielded by your brothers and sisters in Christ were vibrant and directed by purposeful and skilled hands. I think Wellspring may be one of those divine creations, one of those paintings that perhaps will change the way we understand and live out our church in the body of Christ and service to His people. Wow! That's God-stuff."
